NO ONE ASKED
It’s 4 AM on Christmas Eve.
Ginny, who’s fallen asleep watching TV, wakes up to find someone in her living room.

Is he a burglar? Or — as he claims to be — Santa Claus?
And is he really on a coffee break?
Does Santa take coffee breaks?
Why can’t he name his reindeer?

Yet why does Ginny suddenly feel like she’s six years old again?

Or maybe the real questions are:
What does it take to make us believe?
And what does Ginny really want for Christmas?

ON BROCK'S KNOB
Gayle and Justine (sisters) have just climbed the trail to the top of Brock’s Knob and are enjoying the spectacular view,
when they’re joined by two other sisters, Crystal and Justine (2), who have come up to scatter their brother’s ashes.

Too bad Justine (2) is afraid of heights. And she and Crystal do not get along as well as sisters should.
And Justine (2) and her brother didn’t get along all that well, either.
“We’re sort of a dysfunctional family,” she needlessly tells Gayle and Justine (1).
Clearly, there’s a lot of baggage here.

But baggage is meant to be unloaded.
And as the two pairs of sister interact, Justine (2) and Crystal are given the chance to drop plenty.

THE BLACK BOX
LUCAS is going out of town, and calls his close friend MANNY to ask if he can leave a small box with him while he’s gone.
But Lucas won’t tell Manny what’s in it.
And the more questions Manny asks, the more apparently-evasive and vague Lucas gets.

Lucas does assure Manny that there’s nothing illegal in the box, and it will not put Manny in any danger.
But Lucas is a sociologist with a history of doing unusual things to see how people react.
Is this one of those?
If it is, does Manny want to be part of it?
Or is Manny just spinning out over this, which he has a history of doing?

A MAN WALKS INTO A CHURCH...
GABE’s been feeling a little down lately. He might be depressed, “But it’s more like... Anxiety? Fear? It’s a combination of all that.
More anxious or scared, but maybe depression’s in there, too. Or maybe that’s what’s making me depressed.
Or maybe being depressed is making me anxious or scared. I can’t put my finger on it, exactly.”

So when he passes a roadside church while out for a drive, he goes in on the spur of the moment.

Inside, he meets CLAY, who “may have a few things figured out” and who, Gave decides,
“must have some idea that might help.”

Will Clay be able to help Gabe?
Or has Gabe walked into the wrong church?
